Lead vocalist Tansy Stark has been singing since she was old enough to hold a microphone. With over a decade of formal training in jazz vocals and a lifelong passion for R&B music, she brings her soulful energy to The Mighty Neptunes. Although traditionally a soloist, all it took was one jam session with TMN and she became their lead singer to the delight of everyone. “We had instant chemistry,” she recalled; “It really was a perfect fit!”

Musical Director and keyboardist Steven H Berk has been a well known fixture in the Bay Area music scene since 1978. A master of blues piano and the Hammond B3 organ, Steven has recorded with Journey, Jackson Browne and Warren Zevon, and performed with John Lee Hooker and members of Santana, the Doobie Brothers, the Gregg Allman Band and Eddie Money. Besides his contributions to TMN, he can be found teaching, performing and recording with various notable artists throughout Northern California.

John "Devil Dog" Rossillon is a founding member of The Mighty Neptunes. John has supplied the driving rhythm behind numerous rock ensembles over the past thirty years, including filling the role of house drummer at EMB Audio. He has studied under the master of rhythm, Thomas "T" Moran of Cold Blood and Jefferson Starship fame, and is the rock-solid pulse behind the Mighty Neptunes soulful sound.

Bassist Jane "Sparky" Tyska is the newest member of The Mighty Neptunes family. In the 1990's she studied under the tutelage of Carol Kaye, the quintessential queen of session bassists. Carol's influence, along with those of Donald "Duck" Dunn, James Jamerson and Paul McCartney, have molded Jane into the accomplished bassist and commanding performer she is today. She's performed with Britain's Nigel Bennett, known for his work with punk bands The Members and The Vibrators, has shared the stage with Niger's world-music star Bombino and played alongside Seattle's Howlin' Houndog.

Kevin Kearney, Executive Producer and CFO for The Mighty Neptunes, is also the heartfelt lead and searing slide guitarist for the group. Kevin has performed with members of Huey Lewis and the News and John Lee Hooker, and is a founding member of The Mighty Neptunes, having created the band with drummer John Rossillon over ten years ago.
